Why sustainability matters: A note from our founder

At Nestled, we're passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces that stand the test of time. But for us,  beautiful design goes beyond aesthetics. It's about considering the impact our choices have on the planet and creating spaces that are as responsible as they are inspiring.

That's why sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We believe that by embedding sustainable practices into our design process, we can create homes and commercial spaces that are not only visually stunning but also contribute to a healthier environment.

This commitment to sustainability isn't just a trend for us; it's a fundamental part of our design philosophy. We carefully vet all our suppliers, delving deep into their supply chains to understand how their products are made and ensuring they align with our environmental values. We seek out those who contribute to a circular economy, minimising waste or eliminating it entirely.  We avoid products that have a detrimental impact on the environment, even if they might be aesthetically pleasing.

We believe in transparency and knowledge sharing. We're dedicated to educating our clients about our research and findings, empowering them to make informed decisions that contribute to a more sustainable approach to interior design.

To that end, we're building a comprehensive database, meticulously recording detailed information about the carbon footprint of individual products and materials. This allows us to make data-driven decisions and guide our clients towards more sustainable choices.

We understand that achieving true sustainability in interior design is an ongoing journey, and it's not without its challenges. But we're committed to constantly learning, evolving, and improving our practices.
